Is this the most unfortunate company name in bioenergy?

Sorry that it’s been so long since I last blogged… I could make a load of excuses, but instead here’s a humerous link I’ve been saving…

A report  last month on the allAfrica website covered a new development in Kenya and Rwanda to produce bioenergy from water hyacinths grown on Lake Victoria.

Ignoring any potnetial ecological issues for the momwnt, the name of the company, which appears to be registered in Las Vegas, is somewhat unfortunate: CrapCo Cellulosic Process Company.

Maybe they should be in the biogas business?

Each week, Enagri’s BioenergyWeekly brings you all the serious (and not-so-serious) news and developments from the global bioenergy industry.
